The 10:00 a.m. Water Fitness class, led by Sue White, celebrated Halloween by dressing in waterproof masks and hats.
A fun day was planned with challenging games of bicycle built for two rides, seated chair challenges and many other games along with some Halloween music.
This class uses water weights and aqua bars. The equipment used is purchased by the participants. Classes are held at the outside Tuscany Falls pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:00 a.m.
The class helps participants improve agility, balance and coordination and targets all the major muscle groups. In addition, the class includes tQUATa or HIIT, high intensity interval training. Participants blast away with a variety of exercises thereby burning calories and increasing their resting metabolic rate.

As the water provides buoyancy, power moves can be done with little or no impact to joints. The water also provides added resistance.
This class is ideal for those who have had past knee or hip injuries or replacements.
