Have you found that even among your commitments to golf, fitness classes, clubs, etc., you realize you have a few open hours per month that you would like to contribute to our PebbleCreek community? A very important and necessary PC group is currently looking for volunteers – perhaps this would satisfy your desire to help out! The time invested will be minimal, but the results will be huge. Please consider giving of your time to contribute to the community.
Volunteers are definitely needed to help fill the ranks of the Unit Contacts Group. Formerly Unit Reps, these men and women are an active group of volunteers willing to serve their neighbors and their community. Their responsibilities include being the one person their residents can count on to hold their unit together. They are to maintain an up-to-date unit directory and email address list, welcome new residents and introduce them to their neighbors, relay information between the HOA Board/management and their residents, and, if so desired, oversee planning of social events for their unit.
It would be very helpful to have a volunteer in every unit who is willing to serve in that role of Unit Contact. Out of 62 units, almost one third are currently without a contact person/s, which means many residents are missing out on noteworthy information and multiple newcomers are not being welcomed properly to their new home. Those units in need of a volunteer include units 4, 9, 16, 17, 23, 24, 26, 27C (lots 121-144, 214-283), 27D (lots 208-213, 284-371), 30, 32, 36, 37, 39, 44, 55A, 57, and 60. If you are a resident of any of these units and are interested in hearing more about what this volunteer role involves, please email Janet Miazga, Unit 51 Contact, Unit Contacts Group Coordinator, at [email protected].
Many thanks go out to all of those residents who have given their time in the past or currently do serve as a Unit Contact – your participation is greatly appreciated by the residents of PebbleCreek. Let’s try to find volunteers for those units without a Unit Contact!
