Volunteers Needed and Ticket Sales Start September 30!

Suzanne Butler, Publicity

PebbleCreek’s 28th annual Home & Garden Tour will be on Saturday, Nov. 2, from noon to 4 p.m. Homes on the tour will offer unique designs, some amazing remodels, and wonderful decorating ideas!

With this excellent selection of homes on tour, there is a need for approximately 80 volunteers to be at the homes as hosts and hostesses. Thanks to those of you who have already signed up! Volunteers are needed for both the first shift, which is 11:45 a.m.to 1:50 p.m., and the second shift, which is 1:50 to 4 p.m. An online sign-up schedule form is set up to make volunteering super easy. The web address for the site is volunteersignup.org/TPDHM. Please go to this website and sign up now to help with this very worthwhile event!

This event is for PebbleCreek residents only, with a limit of 400 tickets sold. Ticket cost is $25 each and checks should be made payable to “City of Goodyear” with the notation “Shop with a Cop” on the Memo line on the check. All ticket sales begin on Monday, Sept. 30 and will be available for purchase in person at the PebbleCreek Activities Office. A maximum of 50 of the total 400 tickets will be sold through “Mail Order Ticket Requests.” Mail requests for tickets to Janet Duke at 16247 W. Indianola, Goodyear, AZ 85395. Include the resident’s name, number of tickets requested, email address, and phone number along with your check for the total number of tickets requested. You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your request and payment, and you may pick up tickets beginning Sept. 30. If your request is received after the maximum of 50 “Mail Order Tickets” are sold, your check will be marked “void” and a copy emailed to you. If you wish to apply your check as a donation if we are sold out, please send a note indicating so with your check. We understand this is different from prior years, but the committee has revamped the process and limited the total tickets sold to provide a better viewing experience for ticket purchasers, Home Tour volunteers, and homeowners. If there are any questions, please email them to [email protected].

All proceeds from the tour go to the Goodyear Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program, which offers children in need the opportunity for a special holiday shopping morning with the Goodyear Police officers.

Home Tour Committee members Wally Campbell, Charlotte Krause, Barbara Hockert, Suzanne Butler, and Janet Duke appreciate the support and generosity of PebbleCreek residents over the past 27 years, and we look forward to your continued support of this 28th Annual Home & Garden Tour event.
