The Men’s Christian Fellowship of PebbleCreek (MCFPC) is making plans for its next meeting, Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 a.m. in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. The group of Christian men meets the first Wednesday of each month, October through May with special guest presenters focusing on a timely topic. The special guest speaker will be Wes Holland, Director of Fellowship events for Voice of the Martyrs (VOM).
The Voice of the Martyrs was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand, who endured persecution for their faith under Communist Romania. Today, VOM serves persecuted Christians in more than 70 nations classified as hostile and restricted to Christianity. The Voice of the Martyrs has stood alongside persecuted Christians worldwide by providing practical relief and support, through spiritual encouragement, by committing to get a bible in the hand of every believer, and through telling their stories. VOM has been dedicated to inspiring all believers to a biblical faith by telling the stories of persecuted Christians, thereby inspiring a more profound commitment to Christ and the fulfillment of his Great Commission, no matter the cost.
In addition to monthly meetings, the MCFPC also conducts weekly bible studies throughout the year each Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. by zoom and in person at the Tuscany Falls Chianti room annex. For more information contact Neil Smith at neilsmithret@gmail.com. Thursday, Nov. 20 is the next opportunity to volunteer at St. Mary’s Foodbank in Surprise. The MCFPC and the PebbleCreek community are invited to participate the third Thursday of each month and gather at 6:30 a.m. across from the Eagle’s Nest Activities office parking lot to carpool. More information can be obtained by contacting Jim Sykes at 614-395-4907 or jimsykes1972@yahoo.com.
The Tuscany Falls Chianti Room is located between the ballroom, and the library and coffee will be served. Guests are always welcome. For more information, contact President Igor Shpudejko at ishpudejko@aol.com or 602-384-6496.
