Veterinary Dermatologist and Urgent Care Vet to Speak

The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek has asked Dr. Samantha Lockwood, a veterinary dermatologist, Dr. Jenna Bowie, an urgent care veterinarian, and Arianna McGowan, a veterinary hospital manager, to be the guest speakers at our monthly meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

Please Note: This month only, in anticipation of higher-than-normal attendance, this presentation will be held in the Eagles Nest Ballroom. Please also note the time change from our normal time.

Dr. Lockwood is with the office of Dermatology for AnimalsGoodyear. She is a board-certified dermatologist, and an adjunct professor for the veterinary program at Midwestern University in Glendale. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Western University of Health Sciences and then completed her three-year residency program with Dermatology for Animals.

Dr. Bowie is the founder of the newly opened Livewell Animal Urgent Care in Goodyear. She is a specialist in urgent care medicine and surgery. She is a native of Washington state and her bachelor’s degree is from Washington State University. She received her DVM from St. George’s University and she completed her clinical training at Texas A&M University.

Arianna is the hospital manager at Livewell Animal Urgent Care. Her focus is on educating the community.

All PebbleCreek residents, whether club members or not, are invited to attend. There is no charge. As always, we will be accepting donations of pet supplies at the meeting.
