Use, don’t abuse

Melissa Kallett

Every sports court in the community has its purpose and you are reminded to “use, don’t abuse” that purpose. It seems almost silly to state the obvious, but observations as of late indicate that reminders are needed.

The tennis courts throughout the community are only to be used for the playing of tennis. As much as you may be inclined to want to play pickleball on the Eagle’s Nest Tennis Courts, you are not allowed to do that. Pickleball play is only authorized on the designated Pickleball Courts located on the Tuscany side of the community. And, it goes without saying, that the Bocce Courts are only to be used for bocce.

It all seems so simple, because it is. Your cooperation in limiting your play to the appropriate courts is appreciated—along with educating your guests to this rule as well.

Similarly, in the community pools, lap lanes are only to be used for lap swimming or walking. They are not be used for recreational splashing about. At scheduled intervals the lap Tuscany Falls outdoor lap area is used for exercise classes or aqua volleyball, but otherwise—the lap lanes are for lap use. Also at the Tuscany Falls outdoor pool, the resistance area should only be used for exercise purposes. You should not be floating about on your noodle or splashing about, especially if others are trying to exercise in the area.

Your cooperation in “using and not abusing” the sports courts and pool areas is appreciated.
