Driveway parking was one of the Rules revisions submitted to the Board for approval at the Feb. 16, 2022, Board meeting. During the residents’ comment portion of the meeting, it became clear to the Board that additional information to clarify this revision would be beneficial to Community understanding. The Board tabled the requested revision and asked the Rules Committee to provide additional information on this subject to the Community. This information will be distributed to the various communication channels in PebbleCreek.
In accordance with Article IV, Section 2(v) of the CC&Rs, temporary driveway parking authorization may be granted at the discretion of the Board or its designee. Each request will be reviewed on an individual basis.
Section 7 of the PCHOA Rules addresses Parking Rules in PebbleCreek. Section 7.4(d) states “a Vehicle may not be parked on a driveway or street between Midnight and 6 a.m.” Over time, the Board has approved exceptions to the parking rules for temporary parking. The exceptions, as well as the approval process for obtaining a permit for temporary driveway parking are contained in Section 7.5—Exceptions to Parking Rules for Temporary Parking.
All authorizations for temporary driveway parking must be in writing, and the vehicle must display a parking pass or decal issued by the PebbleCreek Community Services Patrol. All driveway passes that are issued are subject to verification of the Rules by the PCHOA Board or its designee, including physical inspection.
Authorizations are issued by the PebbleCreek Community Services Patrol.
Vehicles that are covered by Arizona Revised Statutes, that are required to be available at the Homeowner’s residence as a condition of the Homeowner’s employment (e.g., police, fire, public service utility, etc.), are exempt from PebbleCreek HOA driveway parking Rules.
Resident visitor parking on a driveway is allowed, for a maximum of 30 (thirty) consecutive days or 60 (sixty) cumulative days in any calendar year, displaying a valid entry pass obtained from PebbleCreek Community Services Patrol.
The Rules Compliance Committee will be submitting the updated revisions to the Board for their consideration at the April Board meeting. There will be a 30-day posting of the recommended revisions and a Community Meeting prior to the Board meeting in April.
