Join us Wednesday, November 11, Veterans Day, at 4:00 p.m. in the Renaissance Theatre as we say thank you and remember the brave men and women who are serving or have served our country. The program will feature a presentation of the colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, singing of patriotic songs—including the five branches of the military songs—and a very special presentation from the Sons of the American Revolution. Tickets on sale now at the Activities Office. Ticket price is a $5 donation that will go to the Arizona Sons of the Revolution Color Guard.

A Celebration of Christmas Bus Trip – December 5, 2015; 3:00 p.m.
Experience the true season of Christmas like never before! This extraordinary Broadway-style performance features a live orchestra, state-of-the-art technology with incredible special effects, professional acrobatic silk artists, a beautiful Nativity and so much more! In this year’s show a group of people discover the wonder of Christmas through their journey on the Christmas Express while entertaining the audience with aerials, Rockettes, popular dance numbers and much more. The story culminates with a live Nativity, flying angels and a 30-piece orchestra that fills the auditorium. The show takes place at the Phoenix First Assembly in North Phoenix. December ’63 Concert – January 10, 2016 – Renaissance Theatre
The music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons comes to life in this re-creation of a Frankie Valli concert experience. December ‘63 showcases all your favorite songs from Frankie Valli including the one of a kind classics that have been thrilling audiences for decades including everyone’s most popular singles from the musical The Jersey Boys.
Before The Beatles landed on the shores of the United States, The Four Seasons were the most popular band in the country. The British Invasion created a huge shift in American pop music tastes but yet, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons continued to knock out hits. The Four Seasons were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and joined the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.They are one of the best-selling groups of all time, having sold 175 million records worldwide. In 1962 the group released their first album featuring the single Sherry which was not only their first charted hit but also their first number one song. The Four Seasons followed up Sherry with several million selling hits including Big Girls Don’t Cry, (their second number one hit), Walk Like A Man, (their third number one), Candy Girl and several others. From 1962 to early 1964, only The Beach Boys matched The Four Seasons in record sales in the United States. Tom Jones Tribute – Lou Nelson is Tom Jones – February 1, 2016 – Renaissance Theatre
Lou Nelson has been a professional entertainer for over 25 years, first as lead singer for the popular rock band WRABIT whose credits include three internationally released MCA albums featuring the hit, Anyway Anytime. He also toured with such well-known bands as Rush, The Guess Who and many others. He then went on to sing national TV and radio commercials and produce shows for the military abroad. These days Lou’s biggest rush has been performing his tribute to one of music’s most recognizable icons, Tom Jones. In recent years, Lou has also enjoyed performing the music of other great artists such as Sinatra, Anka, Engelbert, Elvis, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole and many more in his Tribute to Vegas Legends.
