Peter, Paul & Mary – May 11

MacDougal Street West, a Peter, Paul and Mary tribute band, consist of Ron Skelton, Mary Alberts, Rick Shore and Bill Rice. The flowering of a new, vibrant musical tradition was rooted in Greenwich Village in the early 1960s; folk music is how it is referred to today. Legendary folk singers and songwriters of that era were first heard nightly in the cafes stretching along fabled MacDougal Street. Today, great folk music still lives on in the band, MacDougal Street West. The urban vibe of Greenwich Village now emanates from Arizona and will be a delight for music lovers when this incredible band brings Peter, Paul and Mary alive at the Renaissance Theater. On sale now online and at Activities; $25.

Nashville Gold – May 18

Nashville Gold featuring the music of the greatest country artists of all time. Each facet of country music is included – from everyone’s favorite kings and queens of country to musical outlaws, urban cowboys and honky-tonk heroes. Ironically, what is now considered a pop music phenomenon, referring to acts by a single name, has been part of the country music culture for decades. Think about it. Tammy, Conway, Loretta, Willie, Patsy, Brooks, Dunn, Reba, Buck, Garth and so many other highly identifiable and influential country artists of our time. You’ll hear all the hits and feel like you’ve got a front row seat at the Opry House or in the Country Music Hall of Fame. The one thing they had in common was to create unforgettable county music and you’ll hear it all in Nashville Gold. From the earliest days of what was referred to as “Hillbilly Music” through the Grand Ole Opry, Singing Cowboys, Western Swing, Honky Tonk, The Nashville Sound, Outlaw Country, and Urban Cowboy, right up to today’s New Country, no era of good ol’ American music is left behind. Featuring an amazing band and some of the most talented vocalists touring today, Nashville Gold will bring back all those great memories. Whether you’re a fan of The Man in Black or want to hear about the guy with Friends in Low Places, don’t miss Nashville Gold. On sale now online and at Activities; $25.

Not Fade Away, The Ultimate Buddy Holly Tribute – June 8

When you look out over the landscape of tribute bands, you may notice that there are a lot them dedicated to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper and their infamous Winter Dance Party. So, you might wonder, what is so different about Not Fade Away? Not Fade Away was created out of survival, but not the survival of the players in the band. The band’s young members have played to audiences in national tours and regional productions of various shows. Not Fade Away was created out of the survival of this incredible, legendary and important music created well over 50 years ago. Having also been a part of many standard tribute shows, Not Fade Away wants to create a new show that will keep this music relevant, give it edge, bring it into today’s music scene, while not forgetting the importance of the music’s place in history and the impact it had on the world. They’re not just looking to dwell on The Day the Music Died. These greats were more than their last night on earth, they were the pioneers of rock n’ roll. They gifted an energetic new kind of music, changing the landscape for an entire generation of music listeners and music makers alike. Not Fade Away hopes to revamp and re-gift those songs to a new generation so that they may last another 50 years. On sale now online and at Activities; $25.
