‘56 – The 1950s Rock ‘n Roll Revue – September 23, 2016 – Tuscany Falls Ballroom
Then: ’56 — a year that featured Coup de Villes and drive-in movies, Ed Sullivan and Milton Berle in your living room once a week, Mickey Mantle leading the Yankees to the pennant and Grace Kelly leaving Hollywood’s silver screen to become a Princess. Elvis had four Top Ten hits that year, alongside Dean Martin and The Platters and he became a movie star — all in 1956. Now: ’56 — four amazing musicians, individually accomplished in other genres, come together to ask this question: What if all those legends from Sun Records and the Louisiana Hayride never went to Hollywood, never made TV shows and movies but were still just playing today? ’56 is the answer! Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Bus Trip – October 5 through 8; second coach added more seats now open!
This incredible tour includes ground transportation, three nights’ accommodations at the Comfort Inn and Suites, breakfast and dinner daily, two visits to the Balloon Fiesta and Santa Fe and Albuquerque sightseeing.
Day One:
Travel by Motorcoach from the valley to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Check into the Comfort Inn and Suites. A welcome dinner is included this evening.
Day Two:
A deluxe continental breakfast is included at the hotel. It’s an early morning today as you view the Mass Ascension where almost 800 balloons ascend into the morning air. Then you will travel the scenic Turquoise Trail to Santa Fe, the oldest seat of government in the United States. Famous for its unique mix of Spanish and Indian cultures, the rows of streets of Santa Fe are lined with buildings of distinctive design, adobe houses and interesting shops. Our visit to this historic city features the Palace of the Governors and Historic Square. Return to Albuquerque for the evening. Dinner is included.
Day Three:
A deluxe continental breakfast is included at the hotel. Today you will tour the Acoma Pueblo, including the new Sky City Museum. Return to Albuquerque and enjoy a city tour, including Old Town, San Felipe de Neri Church and the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. The Sandia Peak Tram and its fantastic view is your next destination. Dinner is included followed by the Special Shapes Glow and After-Glow Fireworks.

Chance Tinder’s Salute to Elvis Presley – November 4, 2016 – Renaissance Theatre
Who better to re-open the beautiful Renaissance Theatre than the King himself? Well, at least as close as we can get with the incredible Chance Tinder’s Salute to Elvis Presley! Chance has been a part of the Elvis Presley phenomenon since the late 1980s as both himself and as Elvis and is an alumnus of the award winning Las Vegas celebrity look-alike production shows, Legends In Concert, American Superstars and Showstoppers Live! His secret to a great Elvis tribute: “It’s about believing that it is not so much the voice that’s most important, but knowing how to become the man himself on that stage. The Four Tops, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and Gladys Knight are all featured in this festive tribute to the season and the music of Motown. The Motor City comes alive with the Motown Christmas Party! On sale October 11, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. online and at the Activities office; $25.
A Celebration of Christmas Bus Trip – December 10, 2016
PebbleCreek is excited to offer our residents transportation and tickets to one of America’s largest holiday musicals, A Celebration of Christmas on Saturday, December 10; 3:00 p.m. Experience the true season of Christmas like never before! (Includes bus transportation, parking fee and reserved event ticket.) Bus departs from the lot near the Armed Forces Plaza at 1:15 p.m. (Please plan to be at the bus pick up area by 1:00 p.m.) This extraordinary Broadway-style performance features a live orchestra, state-of-the-art technology with incredible special effects, professional acrobatic silk artists, a beautiful Nativity and so much more! Rose Parade Bus Trip – Friday, December 31, 2016 through Monday, January 2, 2017
Day One:
Depart the valley and travel to southern California. Lunch is on your own in Palm Springs. Continue to Diamond Bar and check into the Holiday Inn. An East Coast New Year’s Eve Dinner and Toast (at 9:00 p.m. which is midnight on the East Coast) is included.
Day Two:
Breakfast is included at the hotel. In the morning, see the floats up close and personal at the float barn, and then tour Huntington Library. Return to the Holiday Inn for the evening.
Day Three:
