November 5, 2017 – Bus Day Trip to Wild Horse Pass Casino

Trip includes lunch, casino time and Doobie Brothers tribute band in concert!

Enjoy a fabulous day out at the fun Wild Horse Pass casino on Sunday, November 5. Included is a comfortable bus ride to the Casino, lunch in Ling & Louie’s or Café 247 restaurant where you will choose from a wide variety of menu options. Lunch will be at 11:30 a.m. At 3:00 p.m. you will take your assigned seat in the beautiful Ovations Live! Theater to see, Listen to the Music: The Doobie Brothers Tribute, a full 90-minute show. December 31, 2017 – January 2, 2018 – Rose Parade Bus Trip

The Granddaddy of them all: The Rose Parade. The “Parade of all Parades” will be making its way down Colorado Boulevard in grand style on New Year’s Day and you’ll have great seats along the parade route for up-close-viewing. It’s a sensory event you won’t want to miss. See the giant floral floats. Smell the aroma of the millions of roses and other flowers and hear the marching bands fill the air with robust sounds. Day One: Depart the Valley and travel to Southern California. Lunch is on your own en route. There will be a stop at the Mission Inn in Riverside, which is fabulously decorated for the holidays. Continue to Diamond Bar and check into the Holiday Inn. An East Coast New Years Eve Dinner and Toast (at 9:00 p.m.-midnight on the East Coast) is included. January 21, 2018 – Ambrosia

Ambrosia is an American rock band formed in southern California in 1970. Ambrosia had five Top 40 hit singles on Warner Bros. Records released between 1975 and 1980, including the Top 5 hits “How Much I Feel,” “You’re the Only Woman” and “Biggest Part of Me.” Most of the original band members have been active with the group continuously for the past 25 years to the present day. Ambrosia currently tours internationally and has worked in the past and present with Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Alan Parsons, Bruce Hornsby and most recently, Michael McDonald, among other notable artists. Have some beautiful china you no longer need? Gently used oriental rugs? Fine, upscale household goods? Crystal or silver? Very gently-used designer clothes, coats, handbags, scarves, jewelry or shoes? If so, then please join us as a vendor at this “upscale sale” of secondhand treasures. Each vendor space includes a six-foot table and one chair. Please bring your own tablecloths/decor. Price TBA – (one per family), PebbleCreek resident vendors only. No garage-sale quality items or craft items, please; secondhand treasures only. Spaces go on sale TBA at the Activities Office.
