Unit Happenings

The cooler weather cooperated for nine Unit 44 men to gather on the patio at Eagle’s Nest: Dan Harris, Jack Campbell, Mark Eichkorn, Mike Stepien, Bob Adkins, Steve Rustman, Doug Kirkpatrick, Spike Razem, and Scott Crabtree. All approved with a big thumbs up for the excellent food, conversation, and friendship we shared. Good times keep rolling in Unit 44!

Unit 44 Fun Times Continue

Spike Razem

Despite the summer heat, humidity, monsoon rains, and multiple construction vehicles, the residents of Unit 44 found several activities to stay busy and have fun.

Highlights included a well-attended, enjoyable Ladies’ Luncheon at Toscana’s Restaurant and, of course, the always lively monthly Men’s Breakfast.

Unit 62A Activities

Heat nor rain can stop Unit 62A from having fun! The ladies play Hand, Knee, and Foot on Mondays and have now added a revised edition of Hand, Knee, and Foot called Samba to every other Wednesday afternoon. Eight gals enjoyed lunch on Aug. 20 at the Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. Ironically, this restaurant of choice is conveniently located near retail shopping, which, to no surprise, complimented their day. The unit’s happy hour was enjoyed by the Oasis Pool on Aug. 25.
