Unit Happenings

Unit 62A Recap

Toni Erickson

It is June! The heat hasn’t slowed Unit 62A down. The usual activities remain on the calendar, with the addition of Family Feud night hosted by Jerry and Joanne Wrout. It was definitely a great time shared by all those in attendance. The early bird Men’s Breakfast was held at Richi’s in Surprise, while the 62A gals often wonder what is truly discussed at these gatherings! The Ladies’ Lunch followed during the same week at the Venue Tap in Surprise. One can be reassured that the discussions there leave no rock unturned. Another highlight of the month was the happy hour at the Oasis Pool on June 26. Everyone brought a food item, which contributed to the delicious Mexican meal. Olé!

Unit 44’s Fun Ladies’ Luncheon

Michael Razem

Life in PebbleCreek is getting back to normal, which definitely equates to more enjoyable activities in Unit 44.

In addition to men’s breakfast and men’s golf, last month featured a ladies’ luncheon organized by Mary-Lou Stepien at Toscana’s Grill. Partaking in delicious food and lively conversation were Jean Merkel, Donna Thomas, Dottie Kirkpatrick, Deb Fahey, Mary-Lou Stepien, Kathy Clark, Deb Crabtree, Barbara Kamm, Marilyn Scott, and Dawn Razem. As evidenced by their smiling faces, a fun time was had by all!

Unit 61 Ladies’ Lunch

Adrianne Beck, Social Committee

Ladies from Unit 61 enjoyed a good lunch and visiting with their neighbors at Ground Control, a local eatery, on June 14. Everyone is happy to be able to go out again, and it was great to catch up with our neighbors. Nothing beats enjoying a good meal with your friends.
