Unit Happenings

Unit Rep meeting notice

The next Unit Rep meeting will take place Monday, November 9, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. and will feature an update from Sherry Gonzales on the progress of the Strategic Planning Committee’s Community Meetings. Gregg Clymer, HOA Unit Rep Board Liaison, will give his monthly report.

Unit Rep meetings provide a forum for residents to learn more about what is going on in our community and exchange information with other homeowners, Unit Reps and the Board member liaison. Meetings are fact-based, informative, interesting, timely and best of all, open to all residents. So mark your calendar for Monday, November 9, 2015, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Chianti Room at the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse.

The Unit Rep leaders are always looking for new people who want to get involved in the community. If you would like to know more about becoming a Unit Rep, please contact one of the Unit Rep Co-Chairs Janet Miazga at [email protected] or Bob Young at [email protected].

Unit 5 lunch

Carol Maas

On Wednesday, October 7 members of Unit 5 met at Eagle’s Nest for lunch and conversation. There were separate tables for men and women, just to be different. Everyone had a great time getting to know yet more neighbors we hadn’t met before. We are looking forward to future events!

Unit 20 monthly luncheon

Black Angus welcomed all 10 of us with open horns! From left to right are Jo Sadler, her daughter Joy Reilly, Marcé Brennan, Maureen Danner, Shawnee Robison, Yolanda Laborin (hostess), Anna Thomas, Jackie Rice, Pat Rodgers and Carolyn Rota.

The fabulous and efficient waitress, Tamara, took wonderful care of us! The food was excellent as was the service! We highly recommend this Black Angus to you all out there in PC Land! After our meal we discussed next month’s place to meet to eat! Possibly Oregano’s! Also, we talked about the Christmas Luncheon at Olive Garden that will benefit The New Life Center! We’re expecting a large turnout for this luncheon! So we will see you all, ladies, at the next monthly luncheon? Snooze—you lose!

Unit 51 ladies luncheon – ole

Although all of our snowbirds have not yet returned, the Unit 51 October Ladies Luncheon was well attended! Fourteen ladies met at Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant on October 8 to enjoy some Mexican food and to catch up on family, news and travels. Thanks to our hostess Lori Rea for making the arrangements.
