On Veterans Day, November 11, 2017, (Saturday) a unique social event will take place.
The Flair Friendship Fun Club in PebbleCreek will co-sponsor a Food Drive with the Goodyear Police Department’s Community Service Division. The cans of food collected will be distributed by the St Mary’s Food Bank, specifically to homeless veterans that are in need of a helping hand. (What a nice way to celebrate Veterans Day) The collection for the Food Drive will be held at the start of the Masquerade Ball. Members of the Goodyear Police Department and the St. Mary’s Food Bank will be at the door of the clubhouse foyer to collect the items as our guests enter the clubhouse. Each guest is asked to bring two cans of non-perishable food items for our veterans.
As guests come through the foyer they will enter our Moulin Rouge Art Gallery. The PebbleCreek Art Club will be our Gallery host. They will have some of their best items on display for viewing and selection. Most of the artists will be in masquerade format to answer any questions about their art work.
As guests enter the ballroom, The Masquerade Ball in Paris at the Moulin Rouge will begin. Arriving guests will have their best masquerade outfit or mask on and it will be difficult to know who’s who.
There will be a surprise dinner with a French flair. Music impresario DJ Dangerous will provide the sounds. Guest MC Charles Williams from Los Angeles will serenade us with special selections from the Great American Songbook.
Come join us on Veterans Day as we kick off the holiday season in PebbleCreek. Tickets are $55 per person. Event invitations are in the carousal racks in the lobby of each clubhouse. Send payment to Flair Friendship Fun Club, P.O. Box 533, Litchfield Park, Arizona 85340. Call our Special Events Coordinator Rose Beals (623-258-0440) for any additional information.
We will see you at the Masquerade Ball in Paris at the Moulin Rouge on November 11,2017 (Saturday) (Veterans Day) starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse in the ballroom.
