Ukulele Club to Hold Open House in January

Gillian Driscoll

Want to see how much fun we have? The PebbleCreek (PC) Ukulele Club welcomes you to our annual Open House on Thursday, Jan. 15, in the Palm Room of the Eagles Nest Clubhouse at 1 p.m.

We will have extra ukuleles if you want to try playing this incredible instrument and there will be a short lesson to help you on your way. If you don’t want to play but want to come and listen and/or sing, we welcome you as well.

The PC Ukulele Club was established in 2016 when we met in the home of Ross Hart, our founder. Since then we have grown and expanded into the Palm Room. We now have more than 50 on our mailing list! 2026 will be our 10th year, and we are looking forward to celebrating with more music and fun.

We play all kinds of music from the 1920s to the Beatles and beyond. We are a fun group who encourage each other to try new songs and techniques. The ukulele is one of the easiest instruments to learn (apart from the triangle!) and we also welcome those who play other instruments such as guitar, banjo, mandolin, percussion, etc.

Our weekly jams run from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Palm Room.

We look forward to seeing you on Jan. 15!
