Dana West

The Women’s Giving Circle is excited to announce that the Date with a Plate event aims to raise over $15,000 in support of Agua Fria’s mission to provide meals for babies, children, adults, and seniors facing food insecurity in the West Valley.

Lucky ticket holders on Thursday, March 19 will be treated to an unforgettable afternoon, where table setting is elevated to an art form. Guests will be inspired and amazed by 20 unique tablescapes designed by PebbleCreek residents, with styles ranging from glamorous to spiritual, whimsical to fanciful.

Attendees are encouraged to participate in the Silent Auction, which will feature a dazzling array of items, thanks to the generosity of PebbleCreek residents and local businesses. Highlights include a Dinner for Eight, prepared and served by the Goodyear Firemen, as well as new experiences such as: two tickets to Ballet Arizona with a backstage tour, dinner at Mancuso’s; a Total Wine and More Wine Party for 20; Arizona Diamondbacks Dugout Box Seats for four; a Night for Two at the Wigwam; and a Grandparent Package with a gift card for lunch/dinner and tickets to Desert Botanical Gardens and OdySea Aquarium. Other exciting items include a pool cleaning by Prestige Pool Care, an intuitive reading by Melinda Vail, and a gift card to Wondry Flower Shop.

PebbleCreek residents have also contributed handmade items like wine, fused glass pieces, baby clothes, placemats and napkins, wine coolers, a diamond art picture, and a charcuterie/cutting board. Additional offerings from the community include Bruce Kundin’s Magic and Mentalism Show, Lynn Plesha’s Quilling Classes, Gene and JoAnn Fioretti’s French Baguette Class and Luncheon for six, and Maureen Wilson’s Cookie of the Month subscription.

All items will be available for purchase via cash or check, payable to the Agua Fria Food Bank. Plus, guests can try their luck at winning one of three incredible Baskets of Cheer, filled with wine, spirits, or beer.

A sincere thank you to all our sponsors, with a special acknowledgment of our Diamond and Gold Sponsors for their generous support in making this event possible: Arnold Hickey PHX Realty, Al’s Plumbing, Donna Strand Realty ONE Group, Earnhardt Honda, Osborne Jewelers, Regency Skin Institute, and West Valley Golf Cars.
