The Women’s Giving Circle (TWGC) of PebbleCreek is thrilled to announce the outstanding success of our recent fundraising event, Date with a Plate, which raised over $20,000 for the Agua Fria Food Bank. This incredible achievement is double what we raised last year, providing a significant boost in support for families in need—especially for our youngest community members, babies, and children.
Every dollar raised directly supports the food bank’s efforts to provide meals, nutritious food, and essential supplies to those facing hardship. This funding will help deliver thousands of meals to families struggling to make ends meet and ensure that the next generation has access to the nourishment they need to grow healthy and strong.
Guests at the event were captivated by the stunning tablescapes, each one uniquely designed and showcasing the creativity of our exhibitors. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and admiration as attendees shared their favorite displays. The silent auction also proved to be a highlight of the day, raising nearly $9,000. Bidders competed enthusiastically for a range of exclusive items and experiences, adding to the vibrant energy of the event. Guests also enjoyed exquisite butlered hors d’oeuvres and a delightful Celebration of Sweets, making the day even more memorable.
We encourage everyone to visit the TWGC website to watch the wonderful video of the event and take in the beautiful tablescapes that were on display.
A sincere thank you goes to our generous sponsors, whose support made this event possible. Our Diamond Sponsor, Arnold Hickey of PHX Pro Realty, along with our Gold Sponsors—Al’s Plumbing, Donna M. Strand Realty One Group, Earnhardt Honda, Osborne Jewelers, Regency Skin Institute, and West Valley Golf Cars—played a crucial role in covering event costs, ensuring that more funds were directed to the food bank.
After the success of this event, our annual meeting brought together both longtime members and many prospective new members. Attendees were inspired by Mary Kay Utecht’s presentation on the impactful work of the Rotary Club in Goodyear. In a spirit of community, we also collected lightly used duffels and backpacks for donation to the Agua Fria High School District and the Agua Fria Food Bank. The response was overwhelming, and we are deeply grateful for the generosity shown.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce the election of our 2025-26 board of directors, who will guide us in continuing our mission to support those in need within our community. Together, we will keep making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
