Booker T. Washington said, “Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.” This can certainly be said of the “Date with a Plate” committee whose commitment and many talents provided for another successful event.
The Women’s Giving Circle (TWGC) members and residents of PebbleCreek are the happiest and most generous folks in the West Valley! TWGC 2nd Annual “Date with a Plate” was a phenomenal success as the group raised $10,250 for the Agua Fria Food Bank to aid with the overwhelming food insecurity in the West Valley. This is almost double the funds raised last year! The funds will help provide more than 50,000 meals for those who come to Agua Fria Food Bank for assistance.
Thank you to the “Date with a Plate” exhibitors whose beautifully themed tables brought admiration for their creativity and awe for their many talents. This year’s event was expanded to include 15 tables.
