Iwo Jima Sticky Bun
Eagle’s Nest Restaurant – Tuesday, July 18 7:00 to 10:30 a.m. Introducing a large cinnamon pastry treat for $3.50 only on Tuesday through the summer.
Chef Mary has designed a mountain sized Sticky Bun to honor not only the heroism shown during the Battle of Iwo Jima, but the core values of the Marines and indeed of all American combatants in World War II. American flags were planted on the peak of Mount Suribachi in February 1945, located on the Japanese island of Iwo Jima. Coming five days into one of the most ferocious battles of World War II, the first flag-raising was by a group of United States Marines.

Early Catch Fresh Fish
Toscana’s Restaurant – Thursday, July 6 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Starting on July 6 Toscana’s Restaurant will be working to provide the patrons of Toscana’s Restaurant some of the freshest fish in the Southwest. Every Thursday evening we will open early at 4:00 p.m. We will be applying different techniques of cooking whole fresh fish; grilling, baking and poaching; all the meanwhile, giving our membership access to the best seafood in Arizona at the best price.
National Lasagna Day
Toscana’s Restaurant – Saturday, July 29 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Celebrating National Lasagna Day will be special lasagna prepared by Chef Robert Nixon. In addition, the restaurant will feature a small menu highlighting the flavors of Tuscany in addition to the regular dining room menu.
National Cheesecake Day
Toscana’s Restaurant – Sunday, June 30 through Saturday, July 5 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The day is celebrated on July 30. Toscana’s will celebrate the entire week by offering a light French Chiffon Cheesecake with a fresh fruit sauce for $4 per slice.
National Tequila Day
To celebrate the revered liquor, Eagle’s Nest and Toscana’s will offer a $4 Margarita Special as well as a Taco Plate for $10 during lunch and in their lounges until closing time. Viva Mexico!
