Though we had to say goodbye for the summer

Brenda Hyman

The Shalom Club of PebbleCreek is on hiatus for July and August. There are no meetings or special events planned. We are all relaxing, sunning and vacationing. Many of us will not see each other until our kick-off meeting on Sunday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom. We have a wonderful welcome back program for everyone. Look for many surprises as our year begins again after this long hot summer.

A survey has been presented on our website: www.pcshalomclub.org in which our board would like you to participate. We are always looking for ways to improve, innovate and initiate ideas that fit your schedule and liking. Let us know what you would enjoy doing with the club. We are looking for your input as our members are the most important part of our Shalom Club.

Speaking of members—remember we asked you to help build our membership by having each and every one of you try to recruit one member? How is that working out? You can contact Gail Drucker ([email protected]) for information and/or help in presenting our club’s benefits and schedules. Bring a prospective member to our meeting in September! Bring a resident to our Chanukah Party! Bring a PC’er to our Seder. There are all sorts of ways to introduce your friends to our club. I hope you are up to the challenge. Let’s make 2015 our highest membership count. Our club members are the key to this effort. Go—members!

Shalom!
