The Women’s Giving Circle (TWGC) of PebbleCreek’s 3rd Annual Packing Party to benefit Go With The Flow (GWTF), sponsored by Maureen McCann with Realty ONE Group, will be held March 15.
Over the past two years, residents of PebbleCreek have risen to the occasion and helped The Women’s Giving Circle deliver tampons and pads to Go With The Flow (gowiththeflowaz.org). Go With The Flow supports students and those who cannot buy period products. This is an ongoing need that exists throughout the West Valley in shelters, schools, food banks, etc.
The Women’s Giving Circle and Go With The Flow invite PebbleCreekers to once again meet this ongoing community need for menstrual hygiene products. No student should miss school or compromise their dignity because their body is engaging in a natural, normal function.
To simplify the purchasing process for donations, we have created an Amazon Wishlist specifically for the period product drive.
Our goal for this year’s Packing Party is to pack 1,500 bags for GWTF in the fabric bags graciously sewn by members of the PebbleCreek community. To meet our goal, we need to collect 9,000 pads (3 types/sizes = 3,000/each) and 6,000 regular size tampons. Items needed include: Always Ultra Thin pads, size 1; Always Ultra Thin pads, size 2; Playtex Sport unscented regular absorbency tampons; Tampax Pearl advanced grip plastic tampons, regular unscented; Tampax Radiant tampons, regular absorbency; Always Radiant panty liners, regular, unscented; Always Radiant daily feminine panty liners with Flexfoam, without wings; Carefree Acti-Fresh thin panty liners, extra long.
This is such a basic way to help our community and a personal way to make a difference.
