The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek has been a PebbleCreek organization since 1997. We are an IRS approved 501(c) 3 animal rescue group in the community. Our mission is to provide a safe environment for the pets of this community and to assist in the rescue of stray and abandoned animals in the community. In order to do this we depend on the support of our residents in the way of membership dues, cash donations and occasional fundraisers.

Our rescues that are not claimed by owners are typically vet checked, vaccinated and spay/neutered before being placed in new forever homes. In 2014 the Pet Companions Club rescued 36 strays. In 2015, through the first six months, we have already rescued 25 strays. To put this in perspective in 2014 our veterinary expenses were just over $2,000. Through the first half of 2015 we have already spent just under $3,000 for veterinary expenses resulting in a 40% drop in our cash reserves. If rescues continue at the current pace, our efforts will be unsustainable without increased support from our residents in the way of membership dues and cash donations.

If you are a PebbleCreek pet owner and are not currently a member, please consider joining even if you are unable to attend our monthly meetings or participate in our other activities. Your membership dues are important to us in funding our programs. If you are animal lovers, whether members of the Pet Companions Club or not, please consider making a cash donation to support our rescue efforts. The strays rescued in our community will be happier and healthier with  your support.
