With the announcement in June of a Thanksgiving buffet/dinner in July and even a day or two where the local temperatures did not pass the century mark, one had to think that fall was in the air.
We all know what that means—Labor Day, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Columbus Day (renamed Vikings Discover America), United Nations Day, Halloween, Veterans Day—and yes, you guessed it, the real Thanksgiving Day! Once again Donnie Anderson was doing a practice run for the fall Thanksgiving Dinner at Eagle’s Nest in November. Our volunteer group of connoisseurs answered the call to check it out. Donnie Anderson’s staff did it again this year; we all gave it a Five Drumsticks rating.
The members of the connoisseurs group have been to the July event in previous years and thought this presentation was a great representation of the fall classic. Donnie Anderson’s kitchen staff for this event was on point to provide this wonderful buffet/dinner.
