Craig and Judy Hauger and family
Thank you so much for your part in the 2018 AZ Vision Walk! Your support towards this very important cause is such a blessing to our family, to Ashley and to all people who have degenerative retinal eye diseases.
For those who have been with us since the beginning of Team Ashley nine years ago—that is incredible and we thank you! For our new friends that have joined us, thank you and we hope you’ll plan to make the last Saturday in February an annual event! For anybody that is unable to join us for the walk, but has donated to Foundation Fighting Blindness, thank you so very much because research dollars is what is needed!
To our PebbleCreek family and friends: Ashley’s eye appointment was the day prior to the walk. She has given us permission to share an update with you. Ashley has been diagnosed as legally blind now and we will start to help her figure out the path ahead. They plan to move out here to Phoenix in the next few months. We are all excited to have them near us and Ashley is excited about finally joining the rest of us here in Arizona, where we’ll be able to be a better support to her and her family.
Ashley and Judy will be attending the Visions 2018 Conference in San Diego in June, where we will attend programs and sessions on research, trials, tools of how to deal with losing your vision, family support and much more.
Ashley has a positive attitude and a zest for life. She is a wonderful mom and has a supportive husband. We are confident with FFB’s help—their funding is the driving force behind the progress towards a cure—that there will be a cure for Ashley. Until then, we have to prepare for what lies ahead.
Thank you for your continued support.
