The PC Players and ShowTime would like to thank PebbleCreekers for supporting their recent production of Beyond Glory. Thanks to the community’s generosity, a check for $3,000 has been sent to the Homes for Heroes Foundation which helps veterans, active military, firefighters, law enforcement officers, healthcare workers and teachers with home and home-related purchases. The money includes the net proceeds from the show, plus donations from individuals.
The one-act play was presented on two nights in December. The show recounts the stories of eight servicemen who were awarded the Medal of Honor. Director Cathy Lindstrom says the “cast and crew of Beyond Glory were just thrilled at the intense and positive responses our production received from the PebbleCreek audience. People took extra time to tell us how grateful they were to hear the stories of the Medal of Honor recipients and many asked when we might do it again. That is the ultimate compliment. All of us were honored to work on such a meaningful production, and very respectful of the men whose stories were told.”
