The Mentalists, Pub Night’s winning team

The Pub Nite Trivia season ended with a bang last month with team Mentalists taking home the trophy as Pub Nite Trivia Champs of the season. Throughout the months of January through April they racked up points for their combined knowledge of the trivial from marketing slogans, to Oscar winners—from geography to politics—from cartoon characters to automobile manufacturers.
Pub Nite Trivia sessions drew over 200 participants each week. Team names indicated the composition of the team members. There were the Taxing Bodies, The Quizzards of Oz, Unit 54, Where R You?, Know it Alls, Bright Lites, Einstein Wannabees and Can’t Remember %$!@^%# to mention a few. Each night prizes were awarded, though the true motivation to attend each session was the guaranteed laughs that happened each night.
While the Pub Nite Trivia season has ended (to return in December), the fun and games continue. Watch for the return of the Summertime TV Dinners on the second Fridays of June, July and August. These audience participation games are always well attended and great fun. Details to follow in the weeks ahead.
