Arizona Chapter Q begins a new fiscal every year on November 1. This past summer a group of members met over lunch to discuss a new budget which was led by our Treasurer Judy Layton. Once a proposed budget is formed, it is brought to the membership for discussion and approval. Last year’s budget allowed us to send eight fourth grade girls from our cooperating school, Heritage Elementary. At the end of July we held our annual lunch with our campers to send them off to school with supplies needed to start their new year. Pictured is one of our campers who gave an enthusiastic review of their camping activities.

As this new year begins, our chapter will focus on selecting eight more campers, which our 2016 Fashion Show profits will allow us to do. In October, as we meet to discuss the new budget, school nights and plans for the 2017 Fashion Show, committees will form and focus on making 2017 our best year ever as we celebrate our tenth year of active membership within the National T.T.T. Society.

Would you be interested in joining us? Our mission is to send girls to summer camp for the experience of being in the outdoors and learning about the opportunities available to them. The selection process focuses on girls who do not have this option due to family circumstances. Our chapter has sent a group of these students each year since our initiation. We’ve been very proud to serve the T.T.T. mission and so very appreciative of the community support we’ve received during these years.

If you haven’t already marked your 2017 calendars for our next annual Fashion Show and Luncheon, here is the information once again about our date: Saturday, March 11, 2017, in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Further details will be given in upcoming PebbleCreek Posts and on the bulletin boards around the PebbleCreek community.

Information about National T.T.T. Society may be found in our mailbox at the Eagle’s Nest Center across from the Golf Shop. Our club contact is Emma Mosley  at 623-535-5966.
