On April 24 through 26, the Sunday Couples Golf group traveled to Wickenburg to play golf for two days. They stayed at the Los Caballeros Resort. They enjoyed a potluck dinner on Sunday evening in a suite and afterwards played Pictionary. The men beat the women … so who knows how to draw chopsticks?
A shamble was played on Monday, with magic putts, and on Tuesday, Minnesota Two Ball was the game. In addition, each day, there was a closest to the pin for men and women. Also, the top three men and women won overall net for two days. Prizes were awarded each day. Everyone went home a winner.
On Monday, the group also enjoyed watching the “horse run” in the morning. Horses are brought to the ranch each day for horseback riders. It is a sight to see.
On Monday evening the group ate at the resort with a prearranged menu.
Everyone agreed this is a tough course, especially playing it two days in a row. And of course we had some wind on the second day!
Al and Kathy Carney and Terry and Sharon Johnson organized the outing. Many thanks to them!
