Don’t let the summer pass you by without attending one of the popular TV Dinners. The final dinner/game night combination affair is Tuesday, August 11 at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. This month the game is Emcee’s Choice and at press time the choice hasn’t been made. You’ll just have to trust that it will be fun!
Join your neighbors and bring your friends. Tickets are $16, on sale at the EN Activities Office. Come alone and we’ll seat you at a table with others. Come with friends and we’ll seat you all with others. This month’s dinner buffet is “herbed chicken and meatloaf” with all the trimmings and salad accouterments.
“It’s all about getting out of the house, meeting new people, eating, and having fun,” says Melissa Kallett, director of recreation. This month following the dinner we’ll select contestants to play the game as well as to fill the “celebrity panel.” It’s just like the TV show, contestants will be asked a question, the panel will provide their answer, and the contestant’s answer must match the panel member to gain a point. When played in the past, this TV Dinner was always amongst the most popular. You don’t want to miss it this time around.
The dinner is at the TF Ballroom. Bar opens at 5:30, dinner buffet at 6:00 p.m., Game Show at 7:00 p.m. Mark your calendar, and plan to attend.
