On July 22 there were 48 brave ladies that participated in the PCLGA annual Summer Sizzler Tournament. Each lady was given a FroggToggs Chilly Pad Towel when she checked in that morning. The game was Mad Dog Scramble with each team made up of ABCD level players. Even though the heat was on, a good time was had by all. Hamburgers or hot dogs, macaroni salad, cookies and drinks were served in the cool Chianti Room afterward. Co-Chairs Gayle Graven and Barb Guthier thanked everyone for coming and playing on such a hot morning.
The first place winners were (after a scorecard playoff) the team of Virginia Schultz, Stevie Chesky, Debbie Sayer and Judy DeKalb. The second place team was Sue Abercrombie, Geanie Aldridge, Pat Lohmiller and Vicki McLaughlin. Third place winners were Linda Glazer, Gayle Graven, Julie Kurvers and Marcia McDonell. Fourth place went to Donna Havener, Marilyn Holland, Jewel White and Sue White. Congratulations go to all of these ladies.
