As a salute to PebbleCreek veterans, a digital presentation is being added to Veterans Day activities on November 11, 2016. Images of veterans in their uniforms during their respective times of service, their names and periods of service will be shown.
To accomplish this, PebbleCreek veterans are each asked to submit a photo or send a digital image of themselves in uniform during their times of service. Homeowners are also encouraged to submit photos to include veterans who may be family or friends who are honored by pavers and/or seat caps on the Armed Forces Plaza. For more information about purchasing pavers, call or visit the Activities Office at 623-535-9854.
Please send an email to [email protected] or place a photo and information in an envelope noted to Sandra Hand and bring it to the Activities Office. Your photo will be scanned and returned to the Activities Office in the same envelope, adding your name for pickup. Be sure to include your full name or the name of the individual in the photo, branch of service and the period in which you/they served. For example – Joe Doe, U.S.A.F., Korea or Jane Doe, U.S.M.C., Vietnam or John Blank, U.S.N., Cold War or Jane Blank, U.S.A.F., Fort Bragg. The project starts now in order to note all PebbleCreek veterans and family/friends honored in the Plaza who wish to be included on Veterans Day in November. We would like to make this an annual tradition.
