State Party: Wisconsin State Party Planned

Pat Jensen

Current conditions within the state do not allow for us to have a gathering of 200 or more people, which is what we usually have. We didn’t want to cancel the party because we have a lot to celebrate. Our sports teams did well this year, and with the vaccine becoming available, there is light at the end of this tunnel. We have come up with an alternative that should be safe and tasty.

On Feb. 28, wear your green and gold or red and go to the Culver’s restaurant on Estrella between the hours of 2 to 4 p.m. You can choose to eat in or just drive through. The restaurant is reserving the bigger room inside and the outdoor seating for us. The space should accommodate 40 people with adequate spacing. You don’t have to stay the whole time. Just stop in and say hi. They have offered to give everyone who comes that day a free custard. There may also be a few surprises.

We think this is a great way to support a local business, especially one that has been so supportive of us in the past. In order to give the restaurant fair warning, we would like you to register in advance. Just send me an email telling me when you expect to go and if you plan to eat in or just drive through. If staying, we ask that you don’t park in the closest parking spaces. Contact Pat Jensen at [email protected].
