Party Time! “Colorado Rocks” Reservations Announced

“I Heard It Through The Grapevine” as residents “Shout” “Let’s Have a Party.” The 2024 Colorado State Party is coming to PebbleCreek to rock and roll with neighbors on March 2.

Wear your “Tan Shoes and Pink Shoelaces,” poodle skirt, come as a rocker, surfer, or anything else you can “Imagine” for this fun-filled evening. Don’t miss this opportunity to attend the Centennial State’s music themed party—“Colorado Rocks 2024.”

Make your reservation early or be “Helplessly Hoping” to listen to some “Old Time Rock and Roll” while you “Stroll,” bop or “Twist The Night Away.” You’ll be “Crying” if you’re too late because the party has a ”Heat Wave” reputation and has sold out the past six years.

The “Bits and Pieces” Reservation Procedure

* Reservations open Jan. 4 and will be logged on a first-paid, first-reserved basis. Reservations are mandatory and are $45 per person. Your party reservation includes an Italian buffet with dessert.

* To obtain a reservation form, contact (1) Cheryl Murphy at 303-378-9901 or [email protected] or (2) Suki Fitzgerald at [email protected].

* You can also print your reservation forms that will be posted on the E-Group and PebbleCreek Residents Facebook pages on Jan. 4. Completed reservation forms and your check should be mailed or dropped off at 3797 N. 150th Ln. (Eagle’s Nest side) or 16025 W. Windsor Ave. (Tuscany Falls side).

* Printed tickets will not be provided in advance.

* Your check for your registration will be deposited no earlier than March 1. If you register too late, you will be notified, and your check will be shredded.

* “Don’t Worry Baby” “Because” this party is limited to 200 attendees. Will you be there or be square?

The “That’ll Be the Day” Schedule

* A couple of classic cars will be outside the ballroom for you to snap a selfie before entering the party.

* Badges available at 4 p.m. in the Tuscany Ballroom lobby.

* No-host/cash bar starts at 4 p.m.

* Doors open to the ballroom at 4:30 p.m. It’s open seating.

* Bring some extra cash for the ever popular “Rocky Mountain Squares.” Tickets will be available at 4 p.m.  Squares are $5 each, limit four squares per person. More than $3,000 in prizes for the winners!

* “That’s Amore” – dinner will be served from 5 to 6:15 p.m.

* “Let’s Dance” to “Good Vibrations” and the many sounds of the Rhythm Edition Band from 6:15 until 8:45 p.m. The group will play popular tunes of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s.

* Come in costume of the decades, or “Take It Easy” and be casual or wear Colorado clothing.

* Many surprises await the party goers including a new format photo booth.

Save the Date! Please join us for the 2024 Minnesota State Party on March 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sunrise Park, 14800 Robson Circle N (Eagle’s Nest).

Get your flannel on and join us for Paul Bunyan Day! Babe may make an appearance as well. Come and enjoy meeting your Minnesota neighbors here in PebbleCreek. Back by popular demand, we will enjoy homemade Minnesota hotdishes, salads, and Bundt cakes! Ticket cost will be $15 per person.

This year we will be selling tickets for the event at the Eagle’s Nest Kiosk (located across from Member Services Desk in clubhouse lobby) on the following dates and times:

Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m.; Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 9 to 11 a.m.; Tuesday, Jan. 16, from 1 to 3 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 19, from 9 to 11 a.m.; Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 1 to 3 p.m.; Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 9 to 11 a.m.; Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 9 to 11 a.m.; Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 1 to 3 p.m.; and Friday, Feb. 23, from 9 to 11 a.m.

27th Annual Wisconsin Party, February 25

The Wisconsin Party is coming to the Tuscany Falls Ballroom on Feb. 27, from 3 to 7 p.m. This year’s theme is Wisconsin—The Dairy State. Our emcee is Kevin Hillstrom, who will tell us about the history of the Wisconsin dairy industry.

The ticket cost is $44 per person, sold at the Eagle’s Nest kiosk on Thursday, Feb. 1 and Monday, Feb. 4, both 1 to 3 p.m., 10 per table. Please provide your name, contact information, and entree choice. Checks (only, please) payable to Dan Borreson.

Menu: 1st Choice: Maple bourbon grilled chicken topped with bourbon glaze and garnished with candied pecans and fresh herbs. 2nd Choice: Honey ginger roasted sliced pork loin marinated in honey and ginger topped with a sweet soy sesame sauce. Refreshments will include white or chocolate milk, water, coffee, and tea. Culver’s Frozen Custard will be served for dessert, provided by Culver’s of Goodyear.

Wisconsin drinks, like Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer, will be available at the cash bar.

Bring cash for the card game, 50/50 raffle, basket raffle, and cash or check for our designated charity, Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank.

Wear anything with Wisconsin connections—schools, teams, businesses, landmarks, or dairy industry.

You may meet some folks from PebbleCreek who you have not met before. You may want to bring a card with identifying information to share.

Canada Party: Save the Date March 13
