State Parties

Oregon – Idaho

It’s 45 and gray in Portland. Boise reports 41 today and 26 tonight. Mt. Bachelor has a base of 350 inches and Idaho Falls reports a -7. Cheer up Idahoans; by tomorrow it should be up to -1. And skiing is probably good in Bend, but would you really rather be there? No!

Instead we’re here in sunny PebbleCreek preparing for the annual Oregon-Idaho State Party.

Mark your calendar!

When: Sunday, March 20 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.

Where: Sunrise Park, Eagle’s Nest, PebbleCreek

Bring: Your chair, an appetizer to share and beverages.

Certain things have become tradition for this gathering and most notable is the annual Oregon-Idaho Trivia Games. Time to bone up on what really matters, like what was Idaho’s first state capitol? What was the original name of PSU and where in Oregon did Herbert Hoover live as a child?

This is also your chance to make new friends and meet neighbors. Every year new friendships are established and existing ones are rekindled. Ducks find other Ducks and Broncos reconnect. Childhood friends have even found each other!

Whatever your connection to Oregon or Idaho—did you once live in Springfield or was your grandmother born in Idaho Falls or does your sister-in-law live in Reedsport? – No matter! Please come spend the afternoon with us.
