Nevada

Greetings to all past, present or future Nevada residents; plan now to attend this year’s Nevada Party scheduled for Saturday, March 5, 2016. It will be a very simple, low-key event this year. We will have a no-host, BYOB potluck party starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Sunrise Park Ramada/bocce courts. Please plan to attend the festivities to see old Nevada friends and make new ones. An email will be sent out to those Nevadans already in the databank. If you don’t receive one, or you have comments or questions, please contact Randy Plymell at 775-742-1612 or [email protected].

We hope to see you there.

Washington

With our Washington State Spring Party growing ever closer, it’s time to bring everyone up to date. The planning group met again recently and we’re happy to report that we’ve made a lot of progress and things are coming together very nicely. We’re putting the finishing touches on what should prove to be a benchmark party, including entertainment (Pebble Rock, featuring 50s and 60s music), a raffle, random drawings and much more. If you would like to donate, please call Ted Jensen at 425-890-0083.

So please make plans to join us if you can. The date is March 4, 2016, beginning with cocktails at 4:30 (no host bar) and dinner at 6:00 p.m. We have a limited occupancy of 280, so buy your tickets early. Tickets go on sale at the Eagle’s Nest kiosk (across from the desk area) from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on January 26, from 10:00 a.m. to noon on January 28 and on Saturday, January 30 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Further sales dates will follow if tickets are still available.

We wish everyone safe New Year and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on March 4.
