Spotlight On Advertiser: Core Body Pilates

Core Body Pilates West Valley officially opened their doors on January 11 offering free classes that entire month for new clients as they introduced themselves to the West Valley.

Owners MaryLynn St. Germaine and her sister AnnEve Figueroa share a passion for Pilates but, with no studio on the west side of town, decided to open their own.

St. Germaine had fallen in love with Matt Pilates in 2002 and discovered Reformer Pilates in Orange County ten years later. A lifelong lover of fitness, she became certified to teach both Matt and Reformer Pilates.

Figueroa and her husband Matt own Physician Physical Therapy and have six clinics across the valley.

Partnering with Gilbert studio owner Melissa Olsen, the sisters licensed the brand and opened the first West Valley Reformer studio. Together this dynamic team found a perfect location at the southwest corner of Litchfield Road and Camelback and Core Body Pilates West Valley was born.

“We’re thrilled with the response we have gotten so far,” says St. Germaine. “Classes filled up faster than we could have imagined and the west valley has been unbelievably welcoming to us and our new studio.”

Core Body Pilates West Valley has four dynamic instructors, all certified in the Balanced Body Pilates method.

Clients are of all ages and abilities and modifications are made for injuries or pregnancies. The studio offers Group Reformer classes between 5:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and is open Monday through Saturday. Private and Duet instruction sessions are also available.

Core Body Pilates West Valley is located at 4820 N. Litchfield Road, No. 104, Litchfield Park, Arizona 85340; phone 623-285-5462.
