On Halloween the PebbleCreek Quilters had a great event with treats, camaraderie and a show and share of our fall creations. Around 30 of our members joined in the gathering at Sunrise Park and enjoyed an afternoon full of the best homemade cupcakes, ice cream, chocolate candies, cinnamon roasted nuts, ghost suckers and beverages.
Of course, the best part of the afternoon was the Show and Share. All of the fall creations were a testament to how talented our group is. There were also many requests for classes on some of the items, so we will be very busy this coming year learning new techniques and how to make fun Halloween table toppers.
If you would like to join in on the fun, stop by the Diamondback Room at the Creative Art Center on Tuesday or Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Someone is usually there and would be happy to show you around.
If you want to check us out before you come in, visit our website, www.pebblecreekquilters.org. This is where you can get an idea of all the fun activities we have in our club. We hope you will decide to visit us soon.
