Temperatures have been above average for most of the fall but skiers are eagerly awaiting the beginning of a new ski season. PebbleCreek doesn’t have a ski club but many PebbleCreek skiers belong to Valley of the Sun Ski Club (VSSC) which is open to all skiers and is a short drive on Loop 303 to the Sun City West Foundation, southwest corner of Stardust and RH Johnson Boulevard, Sun City West. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month and the next meeting is December 1. VSSC offers well organized, reasonably priced trips to some of the best ski areas in the west. Pictured are a few PebbleCreek skiers enjoying the slopes of Big Sky on one of last season’s trips. For the 2016-2017 season, great trips are planned for Aspen/Snowmass, Telluride and Park City.
