Time to think snow (but not in PC). Many western ski areas already have snow so hopefully great ski conditions are in our future. So, time to dust off and tune up your skis! PebbleCreek doesn’t have a ski club but is well represented in Valley of the Sun Ski Club (VSSC) which is open to all skiers and is just a short drive on Loop 303 to the Sun City West Foundation, SW corner of Stardust and RH Johnson Blvd. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month and the next meeting for the 2019-2020 season is Dec. 5. VSSC provides a great opportunity to ski and socialize with other active adults with similar interests and offers reasonably priced trips to some of the best ski areas in the West; for the upcoming season, great trips are scheduled for Aspen/Snowmass, Beaver Creek/Vail, Big Sky and Park City, and wait-lists are still available.
