Attention, skiers! Weather forecasters are predicting a strong el nino and a new ski season will soon be here. PebbleCreek doesn’t have a ski club but, not to worry, many PebbleCreekers belong to Valley of the Sun Ski Club (VSSC) which is open to all skiers. Meetings are held just a short drive from PebbleCreek at the Sun City West Foundation, southwest corner of Stardust and RH Johnson Boulevard, Sun City West. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month and the kickoff meeting for the new season is November 5. VSSC offers well organized, reasonably priced trips to some of the best ski areas in the West, with great trips planned this season for Aspen, Telluride and Big Sky.
