Twenty-two members of the PebbleCreek Singles Club were transported to ancient Egypt, where miracles happen, faith is tested, and one man’s courage can change the world. We experienced the epic story of faith, destiny, and the power of hope in “The Prince of Egypt” production at the Theatreworks—Peoria Performing Arts Center, the breathtaking musical based on the beloved DreamWorks animated film. This awe-inspiring production brings the biblical tale of Moses to life with stunning visuals, powerful storytelling, and a soaring score by Stephen Schwartz, featuring the Academy Award-winning song “When You Believe.” It follows Moses and Ramses—two brothers raised together in privilege but ultimately divided by fate—as they embark on journeys that will shape the course of history. It had thrilling choreography, spectacular staging, and deeply moving music. The show was spectacular and enjoyed by all who attended. After the show a group went to Westwind Tavern for dinner.
