The PC Singles Club welcomed new members despite the pandemic shutdown. On Sunday, Oct. 4, new members Carol Sanders, Pat Marinelli, Muriel Long, and Peggy Taylor participated in a meet-n-greet at Sunrise Park. Both new and current members came together, while practicing social distancing, to socialize and enjoy an ice cream treat on a hot day.

Under normal circumstances, the club’s new members would be introduced and welcomed at the monthly membership meetings, which are held on the first Sunday of the month in the Tuscany Ballroom at 3 p.m.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, meetings and social activities for the Singles Club have been limited. Only golf and small outdoor gatherings have been on the calendar. On Oct. 13, a small group of ten members went to the Desert Botanical Gardens and enjoyed the beauty of the desert and being outdoors in this great weather. Happy hours have been added to the calendar but are limited in size.

At this time, membership meetings are suspended, but members will be notified as soon as they resume. Anyone interested in joining can contact Membership Director Lynne Johnson at 602-793-6857.

All single residents of PebbleCreek, both full and part-timers, are welcome to join. The Singles Club is a social, not a dating, club. Additional information is available on the website at www.pcsingles.org.
