In an effort to show support for the club’s chosen charity for 2021, members are collecting empty egg cartons, water bottles, and plastic grocery bags for All Faith Community Services. These items are being put to good use in the re-packaging of food items and basic necessities, which in turn are then delivered to families who are in critical need.

All Faith is a faith-based, self-help community service organization. It’s a public food pantry, which also furnishes supplies to the senior food program. Their services, beyond supplying basic needs, include job training, education, and volunteer opportunities. It is a non-profit charitable organization that receives its funding from private donations, grants, and charitable contributions and thereby helps residents in the Goodyear/Buckeye area. To support this cause, the reusable items or cash donations can be made to PebbleCreek Singles Club President Judy Maloney at 2389 N 163rd Drive, Goodyear.

The club’s social calendar is opening up to more activities in the upcoming months. On Easter Day, a lamb dinner was served at Dino’s Greek/Italian Grill. Happy hours at The Sicilian Butcher and The Cabin Whiskey & Grill were a huge success. Golf is ongoing, Pictionary and game nights are both back on the schedule. Hiking, a tour of the botanical gardens, and a visit to Litchfield Museum are also happening in May. My Way, a musical tribute to Frank Sinatra, is scheduled for May 8 at the Phoenix Outdoor Theatre.

As things start opening up in PebbleCreek, we hope to start holding our regular membership meetings on the second Sunday of every month in the Tuscany Ballroom. Check the PebbleCreek Singles website for the latest upcoming events at www.pcsingles.org, and for membership information, contact Lynne Johnson at 602-793-4857.
