In the words of the Soup Nazi character from the TV series Seinfeld, there will be “No soup for you!” if you are not one of the lucky members of the PebbleCreek Singles Club who signed up in time to participate in the Soup Tasting Party on Tuesday, February 17. The event is being hosted by Dan Miczek from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at his home in Tuscany Falls where, due to space limitations, the guest list is limited to 30. The evening’s festivities will center around a competition between six Soupettes who have volunteered to prepare their favorite soups in the hope of winning the title of top chef.
Those who miss the Soup Party can look forward to other February special events that are sure to satisfy the diversified interests of the almost 200 energetic and fun loving PC Singles Club members. On Wednesday, February 11 Rosemary Vana will once again host Race Day at Turf Paradise and on Tuesday, February 24, MJ Smyrl will be leading a group to scenic Lake Pleasant Park for a day of hiking and picnic lunch.
The February calendar also features a number of enjoyable activities which are held on a monthly basis, such as Movie Night on February 4, Singles Golf on February 8, Pictionary on February 9, Brunch and Movie on February 15, Singles at Karaoke on February 18, Game Night on February 20 and Happy Hour on February 26.
Details and signup sheets for these and other upcoming events will be available at the regular monthly meeting of the PebbleCreek Singles Club on Sunday, February 1 in the Ballroom of the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse. Registration of new members begins at 2:15 p.m. followed by activities sign up at 2:30 p.m. and the regular meeting at 3:00 p.m. Members also can keep informed by reading the weekly email activities updates, or by picking up an Activities Calendar in the kiosk at Eagle’s Nest.
All single residents of PebbleCreek, owners and renters, are welcome to join. Dues are $15 per year. For further information about the Singles Club, contact President Judy Shaffer at [email protected] or 951-215-1529.
