Singles Club Members Visit Arizona Biltmore

Kathy Smith

Some members of the PebbleCreek Singles Club visited the Arizona Biltmore for a morning guided tour of this iconic resort. In the photo, they are standing in front of the hotel lobby stained glass rendering of a Frank Lloyd Wright drawing commissioned by his wife.

Opened in 1929, this well-known landmark was once known as the private retreat for the influential rich and famous. The Singles group was accompanied throughout by a knowledgeable and entertaining historian who told tales of presidents, prohibition, building techniques, and the bartender who invented the Tequila Sunrise! Recognizable names and stories of the Reagans, Frank Lloyd Wright, and William Wrigley brought smiles, especially to those of the group who had recently visited the Wrigley Mansion. Members were able to view the mansion from the Biltmore, as well as the second-largest gold leaf ceiling in the world located in a Biltmore ballroom. On the way home, lunch was enjoyed at Seasons 52.

We are a very active group and enjoy lots of fun, friendship, and many activities. We have events for everyone to enjoy. You can call or text Lynn Seidel at 414-403-1517 for more information about how to become involved with the club.
