With July and August being the hottest months of the summer, what better way to cool off than to enjoy the Oasis Pool at Tuscany? Members recently enjoyed an evening of swimming, water volleyball, and socializing with friends. Attending members supplied potluck appetizers and spent the evening catching up with friends they hadn’t seen in a while and meeting new members who had just recently joined. All who attended had a great time.
The activities directors are currently busy working on the fall activities schedule, which includes bocce ball, Wii bowling, golf, along with various weekly game nights. Newly posted special events, activities, and weekly games can be found on the PebbleCreek Singles webpage.
The next membership meeting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 12, in the Tuscany Ballroom at 2:30 p.m. New members are welcomed to attend, to join, and to meet fellow members of the club. The guest speaker for this meeting will be Kathleen Molony, head of Mutts on a Mission, who will talk about their highly successful reading program. After the meeting, reservations at a nearby restaurant will be available for those members who want to enjoy dinner and socialize.
