Showcase your home at the annual fall Home and Garden Tour

Suzanne Butler, Publicity

If you drive around our community, you must admit PebbleCreek is truly a “work in progress!” Saws are buzzing, roof tiles are stacked, trees are being planted everywhere you look! It’s so exciting to see all the new construction and to also watch construction crews busy with remodels on many streets in our established areas. Are you among those who have recently completed a home expansion or remodel or perhaps just put the finishing touches on your newly constructed home? Or are you constructing a brand-new outdoor pavilion for those summer nights around the pool? What better way to share your decorating, design and construction expertise with your PC neighbors and friends than having your home on the PebbleCreek fall Home and Garden Tour? There’s really nothing to it. The Home Tour Committee and Volunteers handle ticket sales, provide programs with special features of your home and station hosts and hostesses throughout your home during the tour. This leaves you free to go out and see the other beautiful homes on the tour.

The fall Home and Garden Tour brings together so many elements of our community: committee members, volunteers, sponsors and homeowners. For those involved in the tour, past and present, community is the common thread. From its beginning in 1996, the Home Tour has been helping children and has become one of the most important ongoing community-building events in PebbleCreek. It takes more than 100 volunteers, homeowners, hostesses, sponsors, committee members and many more to make this tour happen. It takes the entire PebbleCreek community supporting the event by purchasing tickets to have a successful tour.

The Home Tour Committee Members are Wally Campbell, Charlotte Krause, Barbara Hockert and Suzanne Butler. Because our Committee is volunteer based, 100% of the Home Tour proceeds are passed on to the Goodyear Police Department for the Shop with a Cop program each year. This is truly a wonderful outreach in our community.

Please consider having your home on this year’s fall Home and Garden Tour which will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Whether you have a new home, have made recent Home Remodeling Fairfax VA or decorating improvements or perhaps you have incorporated unique collections from past travels or hobbies into your decorating that reflect who you are and where you’ve been in the past. Whatever the case, why not share your creativity and blessings by offering to include your home in the 2019 Home and Garden Tour.

Please contact committee persons Barbara Hockert at 303-550-9790 or Suzanne Butler at 618-789-2260 if you are interested.
