During the PCLGA Red and Green Tournament on December 7, 2016 Layne Sheridan, a new PCLGA member, had a hole-in-one on hole No. 8 of the Falls Course. While playing with Barb McKinney, Judy Newell and Debbie Sayre, Layne hit her 7 wood on the 147-yard hole and aced it. Barb McKinney thought it had gone into the hole, but Layne and the others were pretty sure it was behind the hole. Driving up to the green, someone yelled that it had gone into the hole and sure enough there it was. This was Layne’s fourth hole-in-one. The first two were in Connecticut and the last one was 12 years ago in Utah on another 147-yard, par 3 hole, using a 7 wood. It looks as though she’s got that distance and club down right. Congratulations, Layne!
