Deanna Mendiola
Thursday, March 14, was a very special and thrilling day for Sharon Dawe, who used a four wood, into the wind, to ace the 105-yard hole No. 13 on the Tuscany Falls East Course! Not only did she get her first hole-in-one, but this was also the first full round of golf for Sharon in over nine months. She just recovered from back issues and rotator cuff surgery. Witnesses from Sharon’s Thursday golf group, “Diamonds in the Rough,” were Chris Duprey, Carol Langhardt and Deanna Mendiola. To make it even more fun, a PebbleCreek resident, who had heard the commotion, met the foursome on the No. 15 tee box with a very welcome “hole-in-one” beverage to toast Sharon!
Sharon came to PebbleCreek 19 years ago and has been a full-time resident for the past 15 years. In addition to the “Diamonds in the Rough” golf group, Sharon is a 14-year member of the PebbleCreek Ladies Golf Association, and has held numerous positions, including past President. She is an integral and important member who has always been more than willing to help and support the organization!
Congratulations, Sharon!
